Brendan E. Cashman is a partner and managing director for the Dillig Group at Hightower Advisors.
Brendan began his career in 1995, at the age of 23, as a clerk on the trading floors of the Chicago Board of Trade. After a year of apprenticeship, Brendan began what would become a successful 18 year career as a derivatives trader.
In 2016, Brendan left the exchange and joined the Dillig Group at Hightower Advisors, where he currently serves as a fiduciary, advising families in all areas of investment and financial management.
One of five children, Brendan was born in Williams Bay, Wisconsin and, when he was eight years old, his family moved to Kenilworth, Illinois. Brendan attended Loyola Academy in Wilmette, Illinois, for high school. He went on to Boston College, in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, where he completed a double major in Philosophy and Human Development. Brendan has also completed graduate coursework at Columbia University Business School in Advanced Value Investing.
Brendan and his wife, Danielle, have two children, Maeve and Liam, and reside in Winnetka, Illinois.
